About
Advocating Equality and Safety for all and helping everyone to make life better and more problem free
Coming from a family steeped in traditions that include both aristocratic and religious practices, I was subject to non-medical genital mutilation at a young age. This experience has left me with a profound understanding of the mental and physical challenges it entails. Not only have I suffered personally, but I have also struggled with the innate connection to the species I was born into. It is a harmful, dangerous, and barbaric act that should no longer be permitted for non-medical reasons—a belief that gains urgency from similar advancements, such as the outlawing of female genital mutilation in the UK.
For clarification, I am partly Jewish and partly Aristocratic. The potential anti semitic accusations and potential anti establishment accusations are hugely false and deluded … I’m just trying to survive and make life better, like many, if not all.
Genital mutilation performed without medical necessity can cause severe, lifelong physical and psychological trauma. These procedures often occur without the informed consent of individuals, infringing upon their fundamental human rights. In many cultures, this practice persists, inflicting unnecessary suffering in the name of tradition.
Statistics from the World Health Organization indicate that millions endure these procedures annually, with lasting repercussions on their health and well-being. We must recognize that traditional beliefs do not justify the pain and injury caused to countless individuals worldwide.
Legal frameworks exist in some nations to protect individuals from female genital mutilation, setting a precedent for broader human rights protection. It’s crucial that we expand these protective laws to include all forms of non-medical genital mutilation, regardless of gender or cultural background.
By outlawing non-medical genital mutilation globally, we could prevent the unnecessary suffering and pain that countless children and adults experience. It is time for the international community to unite in protecting the rights of every individual to live without the fear of genital mutilation, ensuring a future where such practices are but a historical relic.
Sign this petition to demand global action against the practice of non-medical genital mutilation, advocating for a world where every individual can live their lives free from this outdated and harmful tradition, certainly for children and under 18s, and hopefully for adults too.
Not looking for major sympathy … lifes difficult for many … but just my storey this is just one issue. Having been in the Mental Health System for now 25 years, and received at times brutal treatment for “my own good” (yep I’ve had considerable problems) its time to try and get involved in life again. Lucky enough to have some one who can defend them self and me, maybe now i’ll progress.
Also I think i came up with the main principal that made the google search engine so successful around 1990 … work in progress getting this validated.
